Friday Quiz #94

Quiz #94 Last week we had a bird of the Southwestern deserts, Gambel's Quail. For this week, since I spent a day "beachcombing" 500 miles from the nearest beach, I thought we should look at a bird you might see along the coast. Good luck and good birding!

Ray and I were leading a trip for the Florida Birding and FotoFest* this morning and saw some of these little guys at a spot where I think this photo may have been taken. Would I be correct in saying Least Tern at Matanzas Inlet ?

This* is a St Augustine based birding festival and Ray's nephew, Joe Woodbury, asked us to lead a trip to Washington Oaks. I got the idea of adding a stop at Matanzas Inlet and we had a 4 plover day there: Black-bellied, Wilson's, Semi-palmated, and Piping.
