Having never seen the place, with or without a dusting of snow, I'll take your word for now. The photo of the red, ochre rock formations peeking through the glistening white snow truly takes my breath away. It's hard to imagine getting up several days in a row and seeing such a scene. Charlie would have loved it.

You'll just have to come see for yourself someday, with or without the white stuff. If you want birds to go with the pretty rocks, May, June, and July are the best time. And, while there's not much here, Charlie would have liked all the fossils next door, too.
