Bev: The adults do have pretty brightly colored legs - usually they're in water deep enough that they are mostly hidden or, as in some of my other spoonbill pics, covered with mud.

No one could make these birds up. Too silly. I mean, PINK? Perhaps in a nice drab olive they could get away with the funny noses, but... Great picture.
